andrew michael joseph is a queer, indonesian-american photographer from albuquerque, new mexico whose creative practice focuses on the intersections of identity, the body, nostalgia, and memory. he is inspired largely by his lived experiences as a queer person of color and finds motivation through a desire to explore and understand the way his identity has influenced his navigation of the world. his work emphasizes the normalization of the queer experience, the fluid nature of recollection, and finding commonalities within the intersections of difference.
